Police Seek Witnesses Of Fatal 1-Car Crash In Naperville
Naperville police are asking the public for information about a single-car crash that claimed the life of a Bolingbrook man Saturday.
NAPERVILLE, IL — Police in Naperville are asking potential witnesses to contact them with any information regarding a single-car crash that claimed the life of Robert J. Lentz, 57, of Bolingbrook Saturday morning.
According to police, Lentz was driving south on Plainfield/Naperville Road around 8:15 a.m. when his 2008 Chevrolet Suburban went off the road and hit a utility pole near Gateshead Drive. Lentz was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say debris from the crash struck two other cars, but no other drivers or passengers were injured.

The crash closed the intersection and parts of Plainfield/Naperville Road until about 1 p.m., as investigators from the Naperville Police Department's Traffic Unit investigated the incident.
