Railroad Grade Crossing Replacement in Naperville Begins July 25
The grade crossing will be closed throughout the duration of the project and motorists will need to utilize an alternate route.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Work to replace the Canadian National Railway grade crossing on 91st Street/Hafenrichter Road will take place the week of July 25, pending weather or unforeseen circumstances, according to a city news release.
Due to the nature of this work, the grade crossing will be closed completely throughout the duration of the project and motorists will need to utilize an alternate route.
Motorists traveling to the east are encouraged to use the posted detour of S. Eola Road, Wolf’s Crossing Road, 248th Road, 95th Street and back to Wolf’s Crossing Road before rejoining 91st Street. Motorists traveling to the west will utilize the same detour in the opposite direction.
