Woman, 66, Dies After Being Hurt In Naperville Crash: Report

The woman was one of four people hurt in the crash, according to the Daily Herald.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A Naperville woman has died following a crash in which she and three others were hurt Tuesday. The woman, identified as Jacqueline Steffeter, 66, sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash and later succumbed to those injuries, the Daily Herald reports.

According to police, an early investigation indicates that Steffeter was driving north on Wehrli Road near Hobson with two passengers when her car ran a red light and hit another car driven by a 21-year-old Streamwood man.

Steffeter and her two passengers, along with a passenger in the Streamwood man's car, were taken to nearby hospitals after the crash.

Police are asking for anyone who witnessed the crash to call the Naperville Police Department's traffic division at 630-420-8833.
