67 Confirmed, Suspected Cases Of Coronavirus At Silver Cross
As of April 22, the hospital said it has 48 coronavirus positive inpatients and 19 persons under investigation, for a total of 67.

NEW LENOX, IL — The amount of coronavirus inpatients at Silver Cross Hospital has decreased overall by two over the past week. As of April 22, the hospital said it has 48 coronavirus positive inpatients and 19 persons under investigation, for a total of 67.
All patients are being cared for in isolation.
Last week, on April 15, the hospital reported there was a total of 69 patients either positive for coronavirus or persons under investigation. The week before that, on April 9, the hospital had 78 patients who had either tested positive or were persons under investigation.

As of April 23, there are 36,934 people who have tested positive for the coronavirus in Illinois, and 1,688 have died. In Will County, the county in which Silver Cross Hospital is located, there are 1,885 people who have tested positive for the coronavirus and 119 county residents have died.

The surrounding community continues to support Silver Cross Hospital, with meal trains being organized and car parades showing support for hospital workers.
