• Overnight lane closures start Friday in Will, DuPage counties for I-355 work (shawlocal.com subscription) — Drivers around New Lenox should expect lane reductions on I-355 between I-55 and I-80, with some stretches down to a single lane as weekend and fall-long pavement repairs continue. The Tollway warns of delays, ramp closures and ongoing work through 2027, and reminds motorists to follow Illinois' Move Over Law near crews and stopped vehicles.
