Electronics Stolen, License Suspended: New Lenox Police Reports
New Lenox police reports through April 6.
The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
March 30
- A man stole electronics valued at over $200 from Target, 2370 E. Lincoln Highway, on March 29.
- Christopher Washington, 22, of Tinley Park, was charged with retail theft at 5:05 p.m. at Target, 2370 E. Lincoln Highway. Washington had previously stolen electronics from the store on March 29 and was seen again inside the store stealing additional items. Police located Washington when he attempted to leave the store with over $200 worth of electronics in his backpack.

- Lawrence Jefferson, 23, of Chicago, was charged with driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured vehicle at 7:31 a.m. at Laraway Road and Calistoga Drive.
April 3
- A man stole several bottles of alcohol from Jewel, 475 Nelson Road, and fled.
