Minooka Man Jailed For Driving Drunk Through New Lenox: Cops
The Minooka man remains in custody six days later despite needing only $500 to get out of jail.

A Minooka man’s alleged drunken drive through Minooka last week landed him in the county jail, where he remains in custody despite needing only $500 to secure his release.
Durane Jones, 44, was pulled over shortly before 3 a.m. Tuesday near the corner of Route 30 and Cedar Road.
An “officer observed a vehicle speeding and conducted a stop,” police said. “The officer discovered that the driver was under the influence of alcohol, driving with a revoked license and was illegally transporting alcohol.”

Jones was also charged with possessing marijuana, according to jail records.
