New Lenox Teen Jailed For Allegedly Dealing Heroin
The teen has been arrested at his Shagbark Road home twice this month in connection with two different heroin cases.

A New Lenox teen was arrested at his Shagbark Road home in connection with a heroin case for the second time in less than a month.
The most recent arrest for 19-year-old Robert Burnett landed him in the Will County jail on a charge of manufacture or delivery of heroin near a school or a park.
The New Lenox police took Burnett into custody early Wednesday morning. His bond was set at $500,000.

Burnett ended up in jail less than four weeks before his Wednesday arrest.
Officers sent to Burnett’s home May 1 to investigate a report of a domestic dispute learned the teen had a warrant out for his arrest and took him into custody, police said. Burnett was reportedly wanted for failing to appear in court on an unrelated heroin case. He was released from jail three days later.

Burnett’s most recent case stemmed from an investigation by the Metropolitan Area Narcotics Squad. The undercover drug unit obtained a warrant for Burnett’s arrest in connection with an alleged instance of heroin dealing on St. Patrick’s Day.
