Wanted New Lenox Teen Captured After Cops Called to Domestic Dispute: Police

The New Lenox teen had failed to appear in court for a heroin case, police said.

A wanted New Lenox teen was captured after the cops were sent to his home to investigate a report of a domestic dispute, police said.

Robert Burnett, 19, was taken from his Shagbark Road home to the Will County jail Friday afternoon.

Burnett had failed to appear in court for a heroin case, according to county records.

Officers investigating the reported disturbance discovered Burnett was wanted while they were “mediating the dispute,” police said.
