• New Lenox Man, 49, Threatened Cops, Cut Off Contact During Multi-Hour Incident: Police (patch.com) — Neighbors in a New Lenox subdivision saw a massive overnight police response after officers say a 49-year-old resident barricaded himself inside his Alta Vista Drive home, threatened officers, and stopped communicating. Police report a woman suffered minor injuries in a domestic incident, children were heard crying but not harmed, and specialized response teams assisted before the man was safely taken into custody Monday morning.
