Schoolhouse Road Crash Victim Identified
The man killed in a wreck in New Lenox Township Friday morning was a 40-year-old from Frankfort.
NEW LENOX, IL - The man killed in a Friday morning crash on Schoolhouse Road just north of Route 30 in New Lenox has been identified as 40-year-old Frankfort resident Mark A. Nelson, the Herald-News reports.
Nelson was the driver of a Subaru when it collided with a Chevy Silverado with a trailer attached in New Lenox Township. Initial reports indicate Nelson was pinned in the driver's seat of the car while it was stuck against a guard rail.
An autopsy for Nelson is scheduled for Saturday.
