Butt-Grabber Charged With Battery Of Masseuse: Blotter
Drivers asleep at the wheel, involved in crashes charged with DUI; burglars break into homes: Morton Grove police blotter, Nov. 29 - Dec. 21

MORTON GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Morton Grove Police Department as a record of police activity and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
INCIDENTS
CAR BURGLARIES
- Someone broke into two work vans in the 6200 block of Oakton Street and stole tools from inside, police were told on Nov. 29. Nothing was taken from another work van someone broke into in the 8000 block of River Road.
- Two unlocked cars were rummaged through in the 9400 block of Neenah Avenue, it was reported on Dec. 4.
- Someone stole a sack of keys and $10 in cash from a unlocked car parked in a driveway in the 8900 block of Oswego Avenue, a resident reported on Dec. 6.
- A resident of the 5900 block of Crain Street reported on Dec. 7 that someone ransacked their parked car.
- A resident of the 5900 block of Capulina Avenue reported on Dec. 7 that someone stole about $100 in cash after rummaging through their parked car.
- A resident in the 7700 block of Churchill Street reported on Dec. 7 that someone had stolen a bag, ID and sunglasses from an unlocked parked car.
- Someone burglarized a work van parked in the Menards parking lot and stole tools, police were told on Dec. 14.
HOME/BUSINESS BURGLARIES

- A resident of the 8900 block of Octavia Avenue reported on Dec. 4 that someone stole two TVs, a bag of clothes and dishes from inside an attached garage with a side door that had been left unlocked.
- An officer responding to a burglar alarm in the 5600 block of Dempster Street on Dec. 12 discovered someone had used a brick to break into a business and gain entry. It was not known what was stolen at the time of the report.
- Three homes were reported burglarized on Dec. 15, one in the 7500 block of Lyons Street, one in the 5500 block of Main Street and one in the 9100 block of Marmora Avenue. In each case, burglars forced open a rear or side door and ransacked the bedrooms.
- On Dec. 18, a resident of the 9200 block of Mason Avenue reported that someone burglarized a home. There was no sign of forced entry.
FRAUDS
- A resident in the 8600 block of Waukegan Road reported an unauthorized $1,584.19 transaction at Menards on Dec. 9.
- A resident in the 300 block of Prairie Court reported on Dec. 10 that someone had made three unauthorized purchases on an American Express gift card.
- A resident in the 8900 block of National Avenue reported on Dec. 11 that someone had altered one of their checks and tried to deposit it.
- A resident in the 8900 block of National Avenue reported on Dec. 18 that someone had forwarded their mail to an address in Chicago.
THEFTS

- Staff at a gas station in the 8900 block of Oswego Avenue reported on Dec. 11 that three teenagers stole unspecified merchandise.
- A shopper in the 6900 block of Dempster Street reported on Dec. 13 someone stole a purse from a shopping cart.
- On Dec. 17, a resident of the 6800 block of Prairie Street reported someone stole a package delivered to a front porch.
ARRESTS
Monika Grzyb, 44, of the 800 block of Brook Drive, Streamwood, was charged with criminal trespassing to a vehicle after an ex-partner claimed she took a vehicle without consent on Nov. 16.
Robert F. Monaco, 42, of the 100 block of Lakeview Drive, Bloomingdale, was arrested on Dec. 2 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after he was pulled over in the 9100 block of Waukegan Road for traffic violations, failed field sobriety tests and refused to provide a breath sample.
Brian D. Turney, 38, of the 7300 block of West Addison Street, Chicago, was arrested Dec. 5 and charged retail theft after stealing a pair of drills from Menards.
Jennifer L. Robinson, 49, of the 6700 block of Church Street, Morton Grove, was arrested on Dec. 6 in the area of Gross Point and Cleveland roads and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following an investigation into a traffic crash.
Rony Khezeran, 43, of the 7300 block of North Lowell Avenue, Lincolnwood, was arrested on Dec. 7 and charged with battery after staff at Heavenly Massage and Spa reported he grabbed the buttocks of a masseuse while receiving a massage.
Reginald T. Thompson, 36, of the 3800 block of Grenshaw Street, Chicago, was arrested on Dec. 8 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after officers reported he was found parked the middle of the road with the keys in the ignition and asleep behind the wheel.
Seonel Ordones, 48, of the 9000 block of West Church Street, Des Plaines, was arrested on Dec. 11 and charged with challenge to fight after he reportedly became upset with a gas station employee and an altercation followed.
