Exploration into Printmaking

 The Morton Grove Park District invites you to try our new Exploration into Printmaking class. Linocut prints transform the simplest of designs into graphic art and produce bold and dramatic images. In this class students will explore the basic printmaking techniques of carving linoleum blocks and how to plan an image, work in positive and negative space and use reduction techniques. Students will be able to print their own creations using different color inks. Linocut prints make excellent greeting cards and can even be printed on fabric. This program is open to anyone 14 years or older.
