Linne Woods Bird Walk

Join Marian Thill, certified naturalist and member of Friends of the Morton Grove Forest Preserves, on a Bird Walk in Morton Grove's own backyard, Linne Woods.

Spring migrating species include scarlet tanagers, indigo buntings, orioles and many warbler species.  We will meet in the Linne Woods parking lot near the turn-around, north of Dempster and Ferris in Morton Grove.  Although not strenuous, this activity requires some walking.  An adult legal guardian must accompany children under 18 years of age.  No pets allowed.  This program may be canceled in case of inclement weather.

Sponsored by the Morton Grove Park District and the Morton Grove Historical Society, partners in Morton Grove Historical Museum and Education Center operations.  Museum programs are free, but reservations are required.  Call the Morton Grove Historical Museum and Education Center at (847) 965-0203 to reserve a spot.
