Patty and Tom Erd, owners of the Spice House, return to the Library for a special presentation about salt and pepper. Salt is technically a mineral, not a spice, but the Erds include salt in their "spicy repertoire." Join us as the Erds tell all about NaCl, its chemistry, its sources, its uses, salt substitutes, and the many kinds of pepper. Goodie bags of samples will be distributed to attendees.
