Frank Rodgers is New Morton Grove Fire Chief
The new department head has more than a quarter-century of experience in Morton Grove.

MORTON GROVE, IL - Frank Rodgers, a longtime firefighter in Morton Grove, is the new chief of the Morton Grove Fire Department.
Rodgers is a 26-year veteran of the department and is a former district chief, according to the Morton Grove Champion.
A swearing-in ceremony is planned for Nov. 14, but Rodgers has been working in the position since Oct. 25. He will be paid $130,500 a year.

Village Administrator Ralph Czerwinski says Rodgers “brings a high level of diverse experience to the position.”
"Over the years, he has also served the department as an apparatus engineer, fire investigator, CPR instructor and (Mutual Aid Box Alarm System) Special Rescue Team member."
Rodgers is replacing Tom Friel.
