Hit-and-Run Driver Who Killed Woman in Morton Grove Remains At Large
A collision on Golf Road late Friday night claimed the life of 49-year-old Denise Cavada.
MORTON GROVE, IL - Police in Morton Grove are searching for a hit-and-run driver who killed a 49-year-old woman Friday night.
Denise Cavada was driving on Golf Road near Ozanam Avenue around 11:30 p.m. when a speeding black vehicle collided with her car and killed her, according to an NBC-Chicago report. A second person in Cavada’s vehicle was hospitalized.
The crash closed Golf Road in both directions until early Saturday morning.

Witnesses told NBC three people fled the black car into the neighborhood and two were taken into custody with the help of a police K9 unit. A third suspect - the driver - remains at large.
