Host a Youth Artist this Summer from Brazil!
Green Star Movement NCP Art Internship Brazil

The Neighborhood Connection Project (NCP) is asking for you to consider this tremendous opportunity from our artistic partner Green Star Movement (GSM) to host a high school student from Brazil. GSM is looking for homestay hosts for 2 high school students (ages 16-18) from Brazil. The students will have a 14 day program in Chicago focused on exploring community engagement through the arts in the United States. While in Chicago, the youth artists will complete full-time apprenticeships at Green Star project sites. This is a merit based exchange program for students that have demonstrated leadership in their local community, excelled in the classroom and at a Green Star Movement project site(s) in Brazil this past Winter. This program is sponsored by the MacArthur Foundation and the American Consulate in Brazil.
