Toddler Hurt in Morton Grove Hit-and-Run Wednesday

MORTON GROVE, IL - Three people were injured, including a 2-year-old child, and one woman was taken in custody after a hit-and-run crash Wednesday morning in Morton Grove, according to a police statement.

A vehicle jumped the curb around 11:00 am in the 8500 block of Menard and hit a house and three pedestrians, a man and women in their 20s and the young child, police said.

The victims were taken to Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, police said. The alleged hit-and-run driver was pulled over and taken into custody while heading west on Dempster after leaving the scene.
