Motorcyclist Dead After Crash With Pickup In Morton Grove

There was no evidence of intoxication but the crash remains under investigation, police said.

MORTON GROVE, IL — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a pickup truck in Morton Grove Thursday, police said. At about 7:40 p.m., officers were called to the 6100 block of North Oakton Street for a report of a traffic crash.

Police found a motorcycle and the pickup on the north side of the road, and the man who had been riding the motorcycle was unresponsive, according to Morton Grove Police Cmdr. Paul Yaras.

The motorcyclist was taken to Lutheran General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased, police said. His name was not released pending notification of family members.
