Pickup Driver Sued For Death Of Motorcyclist
The family of a 31-year-old motorcyclist who collided with a pickup truck in Morton Grove over the summer has sued the driver.

MORTON GROVE, IL - The driver of a pickup truck that collided with a motorcycle over the summer, killing the motorcyclist, is facing a wrongful death lawsuit in connection with the June incident in Morton Grove.
The family of the victim, Delano C. Powell, 31, claims in a suit filed this week in Cook County Circuit Court that the driver of the pickup truck was negligent in failing to yield and driving on the wrong side of the road when Powell was killed, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Police found a motorcycle and the pickup on the north side of the road in the 6100 block of North Oakton Street on June 15. Powell was taken to Lutheran General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
