Trustee Vacancy on Niles Library Board

The Niles Public Library District Board of Trustees is accepting letters of application for the vacant position previously held by Trustee Danette Matyas for the remainder of her term, which expires in May, 2017. Letters should include relevant past experience, why they would like to serve on the Library Board, and whether they are library users. Letters should be sent by email to trustees@nileslibrary.org, or to Library Director Susan Lempke, Niles Public Library District, 6960 Oakton St., Niles IL 60714.

Interested parties must be citizens of the Niles Public Library District, which includes all of the Village of Niles and most of unincorporated Des Plaines and unincorporated Glenview. The Board expects to interview applicants in July.
