INCIDENTS
CAR BURGLARY
A resident of the 9000 block of Parkside Avenue reported on May 7 that someone stole cash from a pair of unlocked parked cars.

IDENTITY THEFT
A Callie Avenue resident reported on May 9 that someone had used their personal information to open a loan.
THEFT
Someone broke into a storage unit in the 8600 block of Waukegan Road and stole unspecified items, police were on May 10.

RETAIL THEFT
A woman stole multiple bags of dog food and a pooper scooper from a pet supply store in the 7200 block of Dempster Street on May 11. As she fled the store, she told staff she was sorry but could not afford to feed her dogs.
STOLEN CAR
A resident of the 7900 block of Linder Avenue reported on May 12 that someone had stolen a Honda SUV from the street.
CAR BURGLARY
A resident of the 9100 block of Parkside Avenue reported on May 13 that someone entered an unlocked car during the previous overnight hours, rummaging through it and stealing loose change.
ARRESTS/CITATIONS
Timothy L. Reese, 51, of the 4700 block of Sheridan Road in Chicago, was arrested on May 9 near the intersection of Lehigh and Lincoln avenue and charged with theft after a witness told police he was seen using a cordless grinder to break a lock and steal a bicycle. Reese was reportedly found with the bike and the grinder.
A 23-year-old Chicago man was arrested on May 14 near the intersection of Dempster Street and Ferris Avenue and charged with driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop.
