AED, Narcan Medication Stolen From Building: Northbrook Police Blotter
Police said the items were taken from a medical box located along a public walkway

NORTHBROOK, IL — The following information comes from the Northbrook Police Department and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.
ARRESTS
SUSPENDED REGISTRATION
A 26-year-old Chicago resident is accused of driving with a suspended registration, and was arrested at 1:06 p.m. Feb. 12, in the 2900 block of Norway Pine Lane. A court date of March 23 was assigned.

REVOKED DRIVER'S LICENSE
Vito Danny D'Amore, of Highland Park, is accused of aggravated driving while license revoked, unlawful possession of open cannabis in a vehicle, illegal transportation of alcohol, and was arrested at 10:16 a.m. Feb. 13, at Willow and Sunset Ridge roads. A court date of March 27 was assigned.

RESISTING ARREST
Cameron D. Carlsen, of Northbrook, is accused of failure to wear a seatbelt, resisting a peace officer, driving while license suspended, and was arrested at 4:51 p.m. Feb. 14, in the 2800 block of Dundee Road. A court date of March 7 was assigned.
- A citizen reported at 12:37 p.m. Feb. 10, someone stole the catalytic converters from his vehicle while it was parked overnight in the 300 block of Wainwright Drive.
- Two separate complainants in the 3000 block of Commercial Avenue reported at 1 p.m. Feb. 10, that the catalytic converters were stolen from their work vehicles.
- A citizen reported Feb. 10 that the catalytic converter from their car was stolen while it was parked overnight in the 3100 block of Pheasant Creek Drive.
- A citizen called police at 6:05 p.m. Feb. 13, to report the catalytic converter of their 2015 gray Toyota Prius was stolen while it was parked outside a car service center in the 1500 block of Skokie Boulevard.
ELECTRONIC FORGERY
A Shermer Road resident reported at 11:26 a.m. Feb. 10, someone made an unauthorized electronic transaction utilizing her checking account.
RETAIL THEFT
The staff at a retail store in the 900 block of Willow Road called police at 6:21 p.m. Feb. 11, to report two women concealed two gift boxes of female beauty products. The subjects fled the store without paying.
THEFT
- The security staff at a multi-retail building in the 1500 block of Lake Cook Road called police at 8:18 a.m. Feb. 12, to report someone stole the automated external defibrillator and Narcan medication from a medical box located along a public walkway.
- A customer at a fitness center in the 1100 block of Skokie Boulevard reported that on Jan. 18, someone broke into his gym locker and stole his two credit cards. The credit cards were then unlawfully used at retail stores outside Northbrook.
- A resident in the 1100 block of Cayuga Drive called police at 9:32 a.m. Feb. 15, to report someone stole a cell phone off their porch after it was delivered.
BURGLARY TO VEHICLE
A citizen reported at 10:42 p.m. Feb. 13, someone smashed out the driver's window of his 2016 Subaru Crosstrek and stole a backpack from the inside in the 900 block of Skokie Boulevard.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO AUTOMOBILE
A citizen reported at 11 p.m Feb. 13, someone scratched his 2013 Dodge Dart while it was parked in the parking lot of his work in the 900 block of Skokie Boulevard.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
A homeowner in the 1300 block of Edgewood Lane reported at 7:03 p.m. Feb. 14, she received a notification from her alarm company that the alarm had activated at her residence. The homeowner was not home at that time. When the officers arrived at their house, they found a broken basement window. The officers did not find anyone inside the house. The bedroom was ransacked, but the homeowner didn’t see anything missing.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY
The manager of a restaurant in the 700 block of Skokie Boulevard reported at 11:18 a.m. Feb. 15, someone entered the restaurant around 3 a.m. using keys to unlock the door. The subject disabled the alarm and stole $800 from the safe.
