Annual Taste of the North Shore Showcases Area Restaurants
Northbrook Chamber event features 20+ restaurants plus beer tasting, silent auction, $500 grand prize raffle and more.
Northbrook, IL — Mark your calendar for a wickedly delicious evening filled with great food, drinks, prizes and fun! The Northbrook Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s 31st Annual Auction & Taste of the North Shore on Thursday, October 29, offers an exciting variety of bites, tastes and sips under one roof for an all-inclusive evening at the Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel in Northbrook.
More than 20 restaurants and food businesses will participate in this special community event. From Kona-crusted New York strip steak bites to blackened shrimp, smoked salmon crostini to barbacoa croquettes, there’s something to tempt every pallet. Follow up savory flavors with sweet treats including gourmet brownies and cookies, Dubai chocolate mousse, frozen custard sundaes and more.
Cabo Mexican Cocina, The Capital Grille, Chicago Marriott Suites Deerfield, City Barbeque, The Claim Company, Culver’s of Northbrook, Embassy Suites Deerfield, Francesca’s North, Gail’s Brownies, The Glen Club, Grill House, Lazy Dog, Maharaj Indian Grill, Max and Benny’s, Napolita Pizzeria & Wine Bar, North Shore Bistro, Renaissance Chicago North Shore, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Sarpino’s Pizzeria Northbrook, Sunset Foods and Sweet Thing Bake Shop will all be onsite with specialties from their menus. Guests will also enjoy complimentary beer, wine and soft drinks, specialty beer tastings, a $500 raffle drawing, and plenty of time to mingle with friends, local professionals, community VIPs and fellow food lovers. The event features an exciting silent auction filled with prize packages from area businesses.

Admission includes all food samples, complimentary beer, wine and soft drinks, and the opportunity to bid on silent auction items. Register by October 27 to receive a $10 discount! Proceeds from the evening help fund Northbrook Chamber Foundation’s programs and services that support the business community.
