Olga A. Allen, who is fluent in Polish, has been with the firm since 2012. Some of her successes are in both the First and Second District Appellate Courts, as well as the Illinois Supreme Court. Ms. Allen recently acted as legal counsel in a complex custody trial where she successfully obtained sole custody for her client and obtained the client’s the right to relocate with the child to Michigan.
Stephanie L. Tang, who is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish, represents individuals in all aspects of family and matrimonial law. Ms. Tang graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, along with various honors. While in law school, she served as Managing Editor and Executive Administrative Editor of The Elder Law Journal. Prior to joining the firm, she was a judicial extern for numerous judges in the Circuit Court of Cook County family law division.
Olga Stambler was born in Russia and lived in Israel and Germany before emigrating to the United States. Fluent in Russian, Ms. Stambler is licensed to practice law in the State of New York and the State of Illinois. She has handled many aspects of domestic relations litigations including child support, maintenance, custody and visitation issues and division of complex marital estates. She recently negotiated a successful settlement relating to the division of a marital estate worth over $15,000,000. Ms. Stambler is trained in Collaborative Law and is a member of the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois. She is also a Cook County Court approved mediator.

Brian Hurst, a partner in the firm grew up in Glencoe, Illinois and resides in Chicago. Recently, Mr. Hurst successfully defended a divorce judgment from a trial on Appeal where he represented the husband. After a seventeenyear marriage, he was successful in obtaining the husband equal parenting time with the children. The judge’s ruling also stated that the husband was not legally obligated to pay either child support or maintenance. Ms. Hurst has a mental health background having obtained a Masters Degree at Loyola and prefiously worked with families and children before deciding to practice law.
John Kay a partner in the firm, grew up in Northbrook and attended Glenbrook North High School. He currently resides in Deerfield with his wife, Dr. Melissa Kay, who is a clinical psychologist and their children. Mr. Kay has been practicing law in Illinois for more than 23 years. Since 2001, he has focused his practice on complex family law. Now, he practices family law exclusively because he enjoys the opportunity to help clients achieve a positive outcome during what can be an extremely difficult time in their lives. Mr. Kay obtained one of the largest child support arrears ruling in the State of Illinois for a client following a lengthy trial. His client was awarded in excess of $381,000 in past due child support.

Neil Robin is a 1972 graduate from the university of Illinois and obtained his law degree in 1976 from Chicago Kent College of Law. Mr. Robin raised his children , who are now grown, in Buffalo Grove. He is a tireless litigator and trail lawyer who has tried countless cases during his 39 years of practice. There is not an issue in family law that he isn’t aware of after so many years in practice.
