NORTHBROOK, IL — The following information comes from the Northbrook Police Department and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

ARRESTS

FORGERY

Lisa M. Guerra, of the 3300 block of Hood Avenue, Park City, had a warrant for forgery, and was arrested by the Zion Police Department at 5:49 p.m. April 15, in the 2000 block of Shannon Road. They were released after posting a $40,000 bond and assigned a court date of May 2.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED

  • Dayan O. Delgado, of the 6100 block of N. Francisco Avenue, Chicago, is accused of speeding, having a warrant for driving while license suspended, and was arrested at 7:29 p.m. April 18, at Lake Cook Road and Skokie Boulevard. They were released after posting a $2,500 bond and were assigned a court date of May 27.
  • Mark N. Olenek, of the 3100 block of Cranston Court, Wilmette, had a warrant for expired registration, no valid insurance, revoked driver's license, resisting arrest, and was arrested at 9:47 a.m. April 20, following a valid license plate reader hit at Lake Cook and Pfingsten roads. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond and was assigned a court date of May 24.

  • Scott M. Nichols, of the 1900 block of Thornwood Lane, Northbrook, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 9:47 p.m. April 19, in the 1900 block of Cherry Lane. Officers responded to the area for a report of a vehicle attempting to leave the parking lot after striking another vehicle. Officers located Nichols, who was released after posting bond and was assigned a court date of May 19.
  • Purevdorj Sukhbaatar, of the 1400 block of Waukegan Road, Northbrook, is accused of improper parking on roadway, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 3:18 a.m. April 20, at Walters Avenue and Hillside Road. They were released after posting a $1,000 bond and were assigned a court date of May 27.

THEFT

  • A Lee Road resident reported at 5:48 p.m. April 15, someone made several fraudulent charges on her business account.
  • A resident in the 1500 block of Walters Avenue called police at 12 p.m. April 20, to report someone removed a package from his front porch.

BURGLARY TO VEHICLE

A resident in the 2000 block of Valencia Drive called police at 12:23 p.m. April 19, to report someone went through her unlocked vehicle and money was taken.

FORGERY

A Glenbrook Drive resident reported at 10:47 a.m. April 20, a check they wrote and mailed was altered and cashed by someone.

SOLICITOR COMPLAINT

A resident in the 3000 block of Pebble Beach Road called police at noon April 20, to report someone was soliciting for a roofing company. Officers located the subject and he was advised to obtain a soliciting permit and left the area.
