Northbrook Patch Honors High School Graduates: Class Of 2020

This is the 17th, and final, installment of our salute to Class of 2020 high school graduates in Northbrook.

NORTHBROOK, IL — Northbrook Patch has been sharing the achievements of local high school graduates by putting them in the spotlight since the beginning of May. Due to the coronavirus, in-person instruction has canceled the rest of the 2019-2020 school year in Illinois. We know these wonderful seniors are missing out on some of the last moments of the school year.

We hope this feature gave the community a way to share their pride in our Class of 2020 high school graduates. Here is the final installment of the Northbrook Class of 2020 high school graduates:

Michael Kruse, Glenbrook North High School

Michael was a member of National Honor Society. Cross Country and Track runner. He will be attending Purdue University and major in Data Science.

Message from the family: "Congratulations to you Michael! We're all very proud of your hard work these past 4 years! On to be a Boilermaker!"

Olivia Kosla, Glenbrook North High School

Olivia is a 12 season athlete for Cross Country, Basketball and Soccer. In addition, she is a Peer Group Leader, Student Board member and part of the National Honor Society. She will be attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Message from the family: "Olivia - your work ethic, attitude and dedication always makes us proud and we know that you will have many more successes at U of I and onward. Congrats and we love you!"


Noah Foster, Glenbrook North High School

Noah was involved in chess, tennis and broadcasting. Noah is a Glenbrook Scholar, an Illinois State Scholar and GBN National Honor Society member. He will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison to study engineering.

Message from the family: "Noah, we are proud not only of your academic achievements, but also the kindness and compassion you show others. We wish you great success in this new chapter of your life. Love, Mom, Dad, and Hannah."


Alexander Miller, Glenbrook North High School

Alex’s passions are for music, math and science. He was a member of the Wind Ensemble and marching band, having performed with the GBN bands for four full years. He was a member of the Glenbrook Symphony Orchestra for the past two year. He also performed with the jazz band and choir during his stay at GBN. Alexander He plans are to attend Illinois Institute of Technology to study chemistry. His goal is become an environmental scientist.

Message from the family: "We have loved taking this journey with you this past 18 years. You have grown into an amazing young man and I look forward to seeing where the next leg of your journey will take you. I am so very proud of the things you have accomplished and the man that you are. Enjoy the ride and remember that this isn’t the end but the beginning of something great. Love Mom, Matt, Dad, and Kimber!"
