Northbrook's Wescott School Announces New Assistant Principal: D30
Alison Keller currently serves as the instructional innovation specialist with Lyon School in Glenview School District 34.

NORTHBROOK, IL — Following a series of educator job movements in Northbrook/Glenview District 30, Alison Keller will become the new assistant principal at Northbrook's Wescott School for next school year.
Keller replaces Katie Compagno, who will become principal at Willowbrook School (Glenview), following the creation of a new role with the district for soon-to-be former principal Scott Carlson. On July 1, Carlson will become the director of human resources for District 30.

According to the district, 31 people applied for the assistant principal position at Wescott, with eight being singled out as "highly qualified" candidates. From that pool, Keller, who currently serves as the instructional innovation specialist with Lyon School in Glenview School District 34, "emerged as the ideal fit for Wescott."
Wescott School, located at 1820 Western Ave., serves 489 students in kindergarten through fifth grade.

Keller is set to assume the new role on Aug. 1.
"Throughout our interview process, Ms. Keller shared the collaboration, intelligence, and values aligned with our ideal candidate profile," Wescott Principal Chris Brown said. "Her work in a wide range of school initiatives, far beyond her role, will make her an outstanding addition to our school."
The district said Keller brings over 15 years of educational experience and earned both her bachelor of arts in elementary education and master's degree in educational technology from Michigan State University. She also earned a master of arts in educational leadership from the American College of Education.
Keller earned a "Those Who Excel" award from the Illinois State Board of Education in 2021.
