Record Store Day at Northbrook Public Library
Vinyls on sale for just 50 cents on Sat. April 18 and beyond.

Vinyl enthusiasts, rejoice; the Northbrook Public Library’s record sale is going strong. After selling a whopping 1300 albums last year, the library will celebrate Record Store Day on Saturday, April 18 by marking its one year anniversary of the vinyl sale. Anyone visiting the library is be able to purchase vinyls for just 50 cents each, and will be discover records of all types of music, from rock to classical.
While Record Store Day lasts for just one day, the Library’s vinyl sale and collection of records is available all year round. The Library’s classic vinyl collection has over 2,000 titles in circulation for patrons to browse and enjoy, including the only copies of Third Man Records’ Rise and Fall of Paramount Records (Volumes 1 and 2) currently in circulation in Illinois.
While the Library already boasts an impressive collection of vinyls, they will be debuting a New Vinyl collection with 50 new and current records for patrons to check out.

The Northbrook Public Library welcomes vinyl donations in good condition year-round.
