Trio Swears At Staff, Throw Clothes: Northbrook Police Blotter
The three men were cited for disorderly conduct, according to police.

NORTHBROOK, IL — The following information comes from the Northbrook Police Department and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.
ARRESTS
RETAIL THEFT
- Jason M. Razdik, of Middleton, Wisconsin, is accused of retail theft, and was arrested at 1:52 p.m. Dec. 9, in the 1500 block of Lake Cook Road. The staff at the retail store said they saw Razdik conceal a sweater on his person while inside the store. Razdik attempted to leave the store without paying, but was stopped by the staff. Police also learned that Razdik had an arrest warrant from the Rosemont Police Department for retail theft as well. Razdik was taken to Cook County Jail, with a court date set for Jan. 17, 2023.
- Traveon L. Phillips, of Waukegan, is accused of retail theft, and was arrested at 6:56 p.m. Dec. 12, in the 900 block of Willow Road. Police said the staff at the retail store stopped Phillips, who placed several bottles of perfume in a bag and left the store without paying. A court date of Jan. 30 was assigned.

INCIDENTS
THEFT
- A customer at a retail store in the 100 block of Skokie Boulevard reported at 4:37 p.m. Dec. 10, said her wallet was stolen out of her purse when she set it down to try on some shoes at a retail store. The complainant’s credit cards were fraudulently used at various stores in the surrounding suburbs.
- A resident in the 1000 block of Waukegan Road called police at 11:43 a.m. Dec. 14, to report he ordered an iPhone 13 from eBay, which the post office confirmed was delivered to his address. The complainant said an unknown subject stole it once it was delivered, since he never received it.
- A Lake Cook Road resident reported at 12:17 p.m. Dec. 14, he ordered a Louis Vuitton purse through a third-party online company. When he received notice it had been delivered to the retail store, he picked it up. The box appeared to be tampered with and the contents were missing.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

A resident in the 1800 block of Oak Avenue reported at 2 p.m. Dec. 11, someone broke into her house through a rear sliding glass door, stole several wrapped gifts and various other items. A recycling bin was taken from the house as well.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO VEHICLE
A citizen reported at 8:13 p.m. Dec. 13, that someone applied paint to his 2019 Audi Q8 while it was parked in a parking lot in the 1100 block of Skokie Boulevard. The paint was applied from the front corner panel to the rear trunk lid.
FORGERY
A Sycamore Lane resident reported at 11:33 a.m. Dec. 14, someone intercepted and altered one of her bank checks. The subject cashed it for $8,520 against her account. The check appeared to be a check originally sent to a utility company for a monthly payment.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
It was reported at 4:46 p.m. Dec. 14, three men entered a retail store in the 100 block of Skokie Boulevard and became angry with the staff during a dispute. The three men yelled profanities at the staff and threw clothes on the floor. All three were cited for disorderly conduct. A court date of Jan. 18, 2023, was assigned.
