Weed Whip Stolen From Northbrook Village Employee
Suspect fled southbound on Pfingsten in green van.

An Echo Weed Whip owned by the village of Northbrook was stolen from Pfingsten Rd. on June 5 as the employee who was using it was retrieving more string from his work truck.
A Northbrook police report indicated the employee was cutting grass on the shoulder of the road, but when he set the weed whip aside to retrieve the string, it was stolen.
Witnesses reported a dark green panel van stopped near where the weed whip was placed, a male subject got out of the vehicle to grab the weed whip and then head southbound on Pfingsten in the van.
