One of the Northbrook Park District’s priorities for investment is to establish a community wide trail and bike network to improve connectivity, outdoor fitness and equitable access. The West Park pathway extension will create a looped path in West Park enhancing our current trail system.
In conjunction with the extension, the District has identified existing pathways at West Park in need of replacement that will be restored over the project’s anticipated 3-5 days of construction. The project’s duration may be extended based on weather conditions. Areas of the park will be a construction site and the work can sometimes be noisy. Please follow signage at the park for safety.
