6-Week Old Baby Girl Abducted By Father In Midlothian, Cops Say
Police are looking for 21-year-old Davasae Jordan, who is suspected of abducting his 6-week-old daughter from the home of the girl's mother.
MIDLOTHIAN, IL -- A 21-year-old man from Blue Island is suspected of grabbing his six-week-old daughter out of the mother's residence in Midlothian by force Thursday night. Police in the south suburb say there is an active order of protection on Davasae Jordan, who is preventing with having any contact with the mother or baby Daisy Jordan, who he is suspected of abducting.
Daisy is a six-week-old black girl who is 24 inches tall and weighs about 14 lbs. She was last seen wearing a gray onesie with white and pink socks.
An Amber Alert was not issued because the case does not fit the criteria, Midlothian police said. The investigation is referred to as a "parental abduction" case.
