Alleged Burglary Attempt Lands Joliet Man In Court

His charges include burglary, attempted burglary and failure to appear in court on a DUI charge.

OAK FOREST, IL — A Joliet man is in court Tuesday on several burglary counts as well as a separate warrant from DuPage County, according to a press release from Oak Forest police. Anthony Yarc, 28, was charged with three counts of residential burglary and one count of attempted residential burglary.

Yarc, of the 2600 block of Oak Ridge Lane in Joliet, is alleged to have been attempting to break into a house on the 6200 block of 157th Pl. Police got the call about a "male subject" trying to enter the home and subsequently arrested Yarc.

Oak Forest police found Yarc and linked him to residential burglaries in the 15300 block of Boca Rio and the 6200 block of 157th Street, the press release said.

Police say Yarc was also wanted in DuPage County for failing to appear in court over a DUI charge.
