Armed Robber Escapes Police Chase In Robbins
Police had to suspend the search for a suspect in an armed robbery near 135th and Pulaski Tuesday night.
ROBBINS, IL - A man who police say robbed a store in Robbins Tuesday night remains on the run, according to a report from WGN-TV.
The report indicates the man jumped into a car after holding up a store near 135th and Pulaski. Police chased him until the car crashed into a garage a half-mile away at 135th and Kostner. The man then jumped out of the car and ran away, according to the report.
A police search, with dogs, went on for hours until it was suspended later in the night.
