Barricade Situation, Shots Fired Closed Midlothian Schools Tuesday: Cops
Schools closed due to police activity.

MIDLOTHIAN, IL -- A barricade situation in the area of 149th Street and Central Park Avenue prompted closings at Bremen High School and all Midlothian School District 143 schools Tuesday.
Police said several people were taken into custody after officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area at around 4:30 a.m.
A male was at a home in the area when "a scuffle broke out" and he was chased from the home by another male who fired several shots, ABC Chicago reported. Police set up a perimeter around the home and took the suspects into custody when they surrendered at around 11 a.m.
