Bremen HS Artists Partake in the SSC Regional Art Invitational

BHS Junior Jesus Carrillo won Best of School for his graphite pencil drawing

Bremen High School artists recently displayed their best work in the South Suburban College Regional High School Art Invitational at South Suburban College. Every year SSC hosts 23 regional high schools from Illinois and Northwest Indiana. This year’s exhibit was judged by award-winning and accomplished painter, Mr. Raymond Thornton.

Congratulations to BHS Junior Jesus Carrillo who won Best of School for his surreal graphite pencil drawing. Jesus' drawing exhibits both great technical and conceptual skills. His fellow art students were very happy that he received this award,” said Fine Arts teacher Mrs. Jennifer Reid.
