Bremen HS Assistant Principal Accused of Fondling 16-y.o. Student
A female student alleges the assistant principal touched her inappropriately.

An assistant principal at Bremen High School has been placed on administrative leave following a studentβs allegations of sexual abuse.
Police say the abuse occurred when Assistant Principal Joseph Simone invited a 16-year-old female student to his office to demonstrate stretching tips for a sports-related injury. He learned of her injury and allegedly wrote her a βhall passβ to come to his office, ABC-7 reports.
βShe did a couple of stretches, as he continued to work with her, he began to touch her in inappropriate areas,β Midlothian Police Chief Harold Kaufman told ABC-7. The student alerted other staff members, who then notified police.

Simone, 43, turned himself into police Tuesday evening. District administrators say no charges have been filed yet, pending an investigation.
Simone is expected to face one charge of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, according to ABC.
