Car in Oak Forest Carjacking Found in Chicago
The car stolen from an Oak Forest resident at gunpoint Tuesday afternoon has been located.

OAK FOREST, IL - The vehicle involved in the carjacking that occurred in Oak Forest Tuesday afternoon has been recovered in the city of Chicago, Oak Forest Police Chief Tim Kristin told Patch Thursday afternoon.
At around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, two alleged offenders approached a victim who was sitting inside the car in the 15500 block of Arroyo Drive, according to previous reports.
One of the suspects — who was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt at the time — reportedly pointed a handgun in the victim's face, threatened bodily harm and demanded the person's personal property.

The two suspects were both described as black men. Kristin said he did not have anything more when asked about more details on the description of the suspects.
Police continue to investigate, he said.
