Car vs. Semi Reported On I-57 Near 159th Street

OAK FOREST, IL -- A semi truck and car collided in the northbound lanes of Interstate 57 near 159th Street in the Oak Forest/Markham area, according to a report from the Northern Illinois Fireground Photos Facebook account. No one was injured, according to the report.

Delays began as soon as the accident was reported, around 2:15 p.m., and could last until the early evening rush hour.

There were two people reportedly involved in the crash, but both refused medical treatment.

At least one lane was closed initially as emergency responders began to investigate.
