Juvenile, 15, Charged In Gun Range Burglary: Oak Forest Police
One juvenile has been charged after four suspects crashed a stolen car into Eagle Gun Range and stole several guns from inside, cops said.
OAK FOREST, IL β Police have made an arrest Wednesday after an Oak Forest gun range was burglarized early Monday morning.
Police were called to Eagle Gun Range, 5900 W. 159th St., Monday at 3 a.m. after four suspects rammed a stolen car into the gun range, then stealing nearly two dozen guns from inside, police said. Using surveillance images, Oak Forest Police investigators and ATF agents identified one of the suspects, police said Wednesday. The suspect, a 15-year-old juvenile from Hazel Crest, was taken into custody and charged in connection with the burglary, police said.
The juvenile has been charged with 10 counts of unlawful use of a weapon, 1 count of possession of a stolen firearm, 1 count of burglary, 1 count of possession of a stolen motor vehicle, 1 count of felony criminal damage, and 1 count of possession of ammunition without a valid FOID card.
