Oak Forest Man Accused Of Fondling Teen Girl’s Breasts

Chicago police arrested 31-year-old Mark Gromoll Friday night.

CHICAGO, IL -- An Oak Forest man is accused of fondling a 15-year-old girl’s breasts in Chicago last week. Police in Chicago arrested Mark Gromoll, 31 at 10:03 p.m. on June 9 and charged him with battery - make physical contact, according to information from the Chicago Police Department obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request.

Gromoll, who has a listed address in the 6100 block of Heron Drive in Oak Forest, was identified by the victim as the man who “grabbed and fondled her breasts without her consent," according to the police report.

When confronted in the 2000 block of North Milwaukee Avenue in Chicago, the report states Gromoll attempted to flee the area but was apprehended by security personnel after a brief struggle in which he hurt his elbow.

Gromoll is scheduled to appear in court on the charge in July.
