Tires Slashed On Midlothian Police Cars In Broad Daylight

A man was caught on video slashing the tires of multiple Midlothian police vehicles Monday morning.

MIDLOTHIAN, IL -- A man came onto village property at the Midlothian Police Department in broad daylight and slashed the tires of multiple vehicles, including one that was privately owned. Police said a surveillance video captured images of the man, who was wearing a blue shirt, black shorts with a white stripe and black shoes at the time of the crime.

The video shows the man entering the property on 148th and Pulaski at 10:48 a.m. on Monday and slashing the tires of four fully marked police vehicles and one privately owned vehicle.

Video showed the man approaching and leaving the station on a bicycle.
