Burbank Police Issue Traffic Plan For Willie Wilson Gas Giveaway
Burbank police issued some last minute instructions for Willie Wilson's gas giveaway, including street closures, Saturday morning.

BURBANK, IL — Burbank police expect hundreds of cars for Chicago businessman Willie Wilson’s gas giveaway Saturday morning at the BP gas station, 5149 W. 79th St.
Police issued some last-minute instructions for traffic flow if you’re planning to participate in the giveaway:
- Vehicles will line up on Laramie Avenue facing north
- Vehicles will enter the BP through Laramie Avenue and exit east on to 79th Street.
- No southbound traffic will be permitted.
Temporary barricades will be placed to block off traffic flow from the following streets:
- 79th Street
- 80th Street
- 81st Street
- 82nd Place
- 82nd Street
The event is expected to be over by 11 a.m.

The first 400 cars in line will receive a ticket to receive $50 worth of gas. Police ask that participants not camp out overnight. Cars may start lining up at 6 a.m., for the gas giveaway that starts at 7 a.m.
Area residents are asked to use caution in the area of 79th Street and Laramie Avenue. The BP in Burbank is one of 35 locations in Chicago and suburban Cook County that will be giving away free gas.
