Eisenhower USMC JROTC with a message for veterans

Standing in the cold to express their gratitude

U.S. Marine Corps JROTC students from Eisenhower High School have not been able to come to school. But they still found a way to express their gratitude this morning to those who have served on Veterans Day.

Cadet Captain Karina Gomez, Cadet 1st Lt Avion Richards, and Cadet Sgt Ryan Murphy stood outside the main entrance with flags and signs thanking veterans.

"Lots of beeping horns this morning," said Col. (ret.) Rob Sprague, who manages the USMC JROTC program with MSGT (ret.) Kazie Hope.
