Facial Hair Bandit Robs TCF Bank Branch Inside Burbank Jewel
Burbank police and FBI investigate note-job bank robbery at TCF bank branch inside Jewel.
BURBANK, IL — The often-robbed TCF Bank branch inside the Burbank Jewel was hit again Tuesday morning. No one was injured, and the bank robber is believed to have made his escape in a red four-door sedan. The FBI is assisting the Burbank police in the investigation.
Around 9:15 a.m., police said a man walked up to the teller at the TCF Bank branch inside the Jewel-Osco Food Store at 7910 S. Cicero Ave. Police said the bandit showed a note demanding money from the teller's drawer. The teller complied, and the man left the store, driving away in a red four-door sedan, according to a Burbank police news release.
The vehicle was last seen traveling eastbound on 79th Street from Cicero Avenue. Police said the robber did not display a weapon. The teller was not physically harmed. Police didn't disclose the amount of money grabbed in the robbery.

The bandit is described as an African-American man, with lighter skin, a moustache and beard. He was wearing blue jeans and a green hooded jacket.
