'Hello, Gourd-geous' Craft, Vendor Show Planned Sunday At OL Pavilion

OAK LAWN, IL —Over 70 crafty and creative vendors will gather this Sunday, Sept. 29, for the “Hello, Gourd-geous Craft and Vendor Show. The show runs from noon to 6 p.m. at the Oak Lawn Pavilion, 9401S. Oak Park Ave., Oak Lawn.

The show is being organized by Yoyo Bella Co. and Nikki Vees Pretties and R&R Fashion Boutique who brought together local and small businesses, many of them female-owned. Their spring Cinco de Mayo show was a big hit.

Shoppers will be able to choose from fashion apparel and accessories, home decor, jewelry, cheesecake, crochet items, epoxy, wood crafters, taffy apple grapes, Tupperware, soy candles, health and wellness products, Pampered Chef, Tumblers, Paparazzi, beaded pens, crochet characters, specialty desserts and so much more.

New this fall is Mickey’s Travels who can help you create the perfect Disney vacation.

“We had a great time at the Cinco de Mayor show and have extended shopping hours for this event,” said Yvette Velazquez, owner of Yoyo Bella Company, of Burbank, who makes bath and body products in her kitchen. “These vendors are all amazing. We tried to balance them out so there’s a wide variety.”

V’Sora Catering and Events will be serving up Puerto Rican cuisine. Table seating is available so you can sit down and eat your lunch.
