• Nearly 340 pounds of suspected cocaine seized in River Grove (nadignewspapers.com) — An Oak Lawn resident has been charged in a major federal drug case after authorities seized nearly 340 pounds of suspected cocaine and about $700,000 in cash from a River Grove residence. Federal and local agencies say the 33-year-old Oak Lawn man and a Mount Prospect man face serious possession and intent-to-distribute charges, and a Cook County judge has ordered both held without pretrial release.
