'Irate' Worker Removed From Chicago Ridge Business Charged: COPS
A disconsolate employee faces felony gun, assault and restraint charges in a workplace incident where two guns were found, police said.
CHICAGO RIDGE, IL — Charges have been filed against a Chicago man who was removed from a Chicago Ridge business after he became “irate” and two guns were found, police said.
Anan Abudayeh, 32, is charged with aggravated unlawful restraint, aggravated unlawful use of a gun and aggravated assault. Abudayeh is due in court Tuesday afternoon.
Around 10:50 a.m., police said the officers responded to the 10100 block of Kitty Avenue, for a call of an "irate worker" inside Redline Towing Service, 10103 S. Kitty. Police were able to take the man into custody without incident. Two guns were also found. No one was injured during the incident.

"Thanks to two very calm and smart employees at Redline Towing and the quick response of our officers, we were able to diffuse a very volatile situation and arrest the suspect without anyone getting hurt," said Chief Jim Jarolimek, of the Chicago Ridge Police Department.
